Sorted Business Solutions began with a 19-year-old girl, a passion for marketing and helping small businesses grow. Three years later Sorted has grown from an idea into a company, transforming businesses all over Australia. This is the story of how it began.
While working at a children’s party centre, Laura, the Founder and Director, soon came to the realisation that this unique small business deserved to grow. She wanted to help spread brand awareness and show off just how amazing this business was, so it could receive the recognition it deserved. Laura took the initiative to help the family-run business with admin and digital marketing behind the scenes.
Studying a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Marketing and Management, Laura learnt about all the various aspects that make up a business, but her initial marketing class sparked an interest. Laura began to apply the skills she had learnt from the classroom into the real world; at first, it started with assisting her part-time job with admin and marketing to developing websites for her friend’s businesses. Sorted was at the beginning of its journey with a small team and a strong drive to make a difference.
Three years later Sorted has grown rapidly, particularly over the last 12 months. The business has transitioned from a small team of two operating as a sole trader, to now a company with a team of eight talented specialists.
Sorted now offers a wide range of services from content creation and social media management, to website design, digital marketing, ads and influencer marketing. We are different from a typical large marketing agency as we offer tailor-made packages to fit our client’s needs. We aim to adapt, that means whatever industry you work in, we dedicate time and energy into learning as much as we can about your industry and brand. Sorted prides itself on taking a genuine interest in your business, we want to see your business thrive, that is why we’ve got excellent customer service, and swift return times. Working in digital marketing means our business hours need to be flexible, as dealing with the internet means problems that may occur, which need to be resolved promptly. During our first year, we primarily worked in the fitness industry with large commercial gyms, we have quickly diversified and now operate throughout the beauty industry, construction, events, hospitality, logistics, fitness and environmental markets.
Sorted is a modern business, from being female-owned, our senior management team are all women under the age of 23. We know that modern problems need modern solutions, especially when working in the digital realms. Sorted operates remotely, and by doing so, we can cater to our interstate, remote and of course, local businesses.
